Back in the late ‘70s, Kevin Spacey was just another struggling young actor with a dream and a fedora. He tried out for a lot of things, including going to a cattle call for Tiger Beat magazine (which you’ll no doubt remember for its paeans to JTT), as well as for The Gong Show. Spacey tells Jimmy Kimmel that he got “pre-gonged†for his Johnny Carson impression, which is just absurd, considering it’s totally on fleek.
