Whispers that Zack Snyder, tease extraordinaire, would unveil Batman v Superman’s first glimpse of footage this week turned into shouts when the director pulled the tweet trigger Wednesday night. Snyder confirmed the April 20 date of his special IMAX teaser screening events with an RSVP link, as well as what is basically a 20-second look at the titular superheroes’ suits. (Obviously, they are badass-, gritty-, health goth-y, kind-of-desaturated-looking Lululemon outfits, but watch the clip anyway so you’re moderately satiated.) The trailer comes next Monday with a special intro from Snyder, and maybe — some are speculating — footage from the Man of Steel sequel. (Why? Why not?) Variety adds that the whole event is supposed to be at least 15 minutes long, so it will basically be like watching an episode of Adventure Time, just not as funny and with no commercials. (Yes, if you click this link you’re buying a ticket to a trailer, but, hey, if we’ve learned anything from Star Wars, it’s that some trailers are worth it.) The actual movie is still set to come out March 25, 2016.
