The weather in New York is finally warm enough for bare legs not to be a sign of insanity, and the fanciest party of the year, the Met Gala, is on the horizon — meaning that the party circuit was in full swing this week. Yesterday marked the biannual CFDA meeting, attended by both Olsen sisters and Diane Von Furstenberg, and the rest of the fashion set not in Milan for Armani’s big 40th anniversary bash. Earlier in the week, Swarovski held its own anniversary party — 120 years — in Austria, featuring a guest performance by FKA Twigs, who seemed to spend her off-stage time hanging out with Jean Paul Gaultier. Calvin Klein, Carolina Herrera, and Cynthia Rowley all showed up at Women Wear Daily’s Weekly launch party at the NoMad, and Jenny Slate and Ethan Hawke both attended the Young Lion Fiction Award Benefit.
