Kristen Stewart, former Twilight star and current critical favorite, will continue her impressive streak of difficult roles: She just landed the lead in Personal Shopper, an English-language ghost story taking place in France’s seedy fashion underworld, according to Variety. Stewart won Best Supporting Actress honors at last year’s César Awards, the French equivalent of the Oscars, except way better, for her elusively complex turn in Assayas’s Clouds of Sils Maria, becoming the first American actress to win a César. We’ll be watching Personal Shopper’s development very closely.
