Large human Chris Hemsworth will crush chairs and battle phones in the Ghostbusters reboot, director Paul Feig announced via Twitter on Wednesday. He’ll play the Receptionist and will Pam Beesly people when they call to report something strange in their neighborhoods, invisible men in their beds, or strange things running through their heads. Variety reports that Hemsworth was approached for this role a while ago, but turned it down because he allegedly thought the role was too small. Now it is apparently bigger; the part nicely complements his other biggish forthcoming comedic role in the Vacation reboot. (Hemsworth is funny and beastly now.) He joins new busters Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones just in time to start production this summer.
