Every now and then Idris Elba likes to pretend he’s a rapper. It’s usually best to ignore him when he tries, but his latest attempt is actually quite fun. Elba has admittedly caught on late to the U.K.’s grime revival, but earlier this year he fanboyed hard to Sketpa’s banger “Shutdown†after he saw the rapper onstage with Kanye West during his blazing BRITs performance. Elba practically begged Skepta on Twitter to put him on the song’s remix, and now his dreams have come true. Here he is dropping Stringer Bell references and acknowledging that he’s only “acting like he’s rapping.†We forgive you, Idris.
