The Lonely Island’s Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone are currently working on an untitled film produced by Judd Apatow, and today Deadline reports that the project officially has a premiere date: June 3, 2016. Schaffer and Taccone are co-directing the film together, which stars Samberg as “a rapper whose album bombs and leaves him with little career choice other than to re-form his old boy band.†SNL’s Tim Meadows will play the “overworked but constantly upbeat manager,†while Sarah Silverman will play his “sharp and sarcastic†publicist.
