The Tonight Show won’t be starring anyone else until the next decade at the earliest: NBC has extended Jimmy Fallon’s contract through 2021, making him the show’s host for at least six more years. There’s no word yet on whether the Roots will also stay on as Fallon’s house band for the next six years. (Though we’re sure U2 would be more than happy to fill in.) Fallon took over for Jay Leno in 2014. At this rate, by the time he has to sign his next contract, he’ll have only four fingers.
