In one of a long line of efforts by everyone involved in the rebooted Star Wars franchise to prove they’ve learned their lesson from the prequels, Lucasfilm head Kathleen Kennedy assures EW that the “young†in the forthcoming “young Han Solo†movie won’t be too young. “He’ll definitely be probably in the high teens, low 20s,†Kennedy tells the mag. “We’re not introducing you to a 10-year-old Han Solo.†Elsewhere, Kennedy promises that the film will also try to avoid the annoying habit of overexplaining every character’s backstory: “We don’t want to spend time going back and answering a lot of questions that, quite frankly, I don’t think people want answered.†Somewhere, Patton Oswalt is breathing the galaxy’s largest sigh of relief.
