James Corden Quizzes YouTube Stars Jenna Marbles and Tyler Oakley

On Friday night’s Late Late Show, which paid tribute to the tenth anniversary of the “endless wormhole†known as YouTube, host James Corden quizzed YouTube stars Jenna Marbles and Tyler Oakley on the medium that made them internet-famous. The 28-year-old Marbles has the seventh-most-subscribed-to channel on YouTube and is the most-followed woman on the site, with 15 million subscribers. Her first hit video taught viewers how to trick people into thinking they’re good-looking. Oakley, whose videos are slightly more serious, advocates for LGBT rights, including the prevention of suicide among LGBT youth. He’s raised more than $1 million for the Trevor Project.

Corden showed the pair videos of waffles falling over, thigh massages, and awkward middle-aged men wishing their cats happy birthday, asking them to guess the number of views, and other miscellaneous YouTube tidbits. Marbles proved that she knows YouTube better than Oakley, though Corden deemed both of them to be epic and amazing.

The episode also included “James Corden’s YouTube Musical,†which celebrates the chocolate rain and double rainbows and geysers of Mentos and Coke that inhabit the streaming service. The video premiered on Vulture the previous day.
