The only Fashion Week event that mattered last night was Givenchy’s after-party — a release of tension after the intensity of the show, which was the brand’s New York debut, an exercise in populism, and a Marina Abramovic collaboration, all rolled into one. The same slew of celebrities who showed up at the Hudson River at sunset for the collection made appearances at a downtown garage for the festivities. It was a family affair: Kendall Jenner and Kim Kardashian both arrived in sheer black lace ensembles, matching Carine Roitfeld, and Liv Tyler hung out with her dad, Steven. Fashion’s favorite athletes, Amar’e Stoudemire and Victor Cruz, turned up, too.
