Jay Rock probably should’ve seen this coming: While promoting his new album on Monday, the rapper dropped by Power 106’s “The Liftoff,†which just so happens to be the same radio show that last hosted one of Kendrick Lamar’s pranks. He previously phoned in pretending to be a Schoolboy Q hater, and yesterday he returned to fool another one of his TDE labelmates. This time, Kendrick put on a woman’s voice to trick Jay Rock into thinking he was a female fan thirsty for his number. Kendrick’s pickup line: “You know I like ‘em tall, dark, and handsome.†Poor Jay fell for it, which either means the guys of Black Hippy don’t talk to each other on the phone that often, or Kendrick really does have a future in acting.
