Just a few weeks ago, the brand announced it would be getting back to its old ways, and by the looks of the new fall style guide, it’s keeping that promise. Out today, the Always List features mainstays like tailored blazers, stripes, parkas, cashmere, and worn-in jeans. The only real hint of Jenna Lyons’s sequins is a pair of sparkly chandelier earrings. Otherwise, it’s all about being timeless.
Keeping the focus on “heritage,” the looks were shot on those who’ve covered J.Crew catalogues over the last 25 years. Joan Smalls and Erin Wasson are practically young’uns next to seasoned supermodels like Amber Valletta, Carolyn Murphy, Liya Kebede, and 71-year-old Lauren Hutton.
