At long last, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah made its big debut on Comedy Central last night, and with some help from Jordan Klepper, Hasan Minhaj, new correspondent Roy Wood Jr., and guest Kevin Hart, Noah delivered a debut show that felt a lot like Jon Stewart’s version with a younger twist. Noah took a moment at the top of the episode to give his former boss the shoutout he deserved: “Above all, I would be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge one man, and that’s Jon Stewart. Thank you, Jon. Thank you for believing in me. I’m not quite sure what you saw in me, but I’ll work hard every day to find it, and I’ll make you not look like the crazy old dude who left his inheritance to some random kid from Africa.â€
