Lena Dunham just added another HBO comedy to her to-do list. Variety reports that the pay network has ordered a half-hour comedy pilot called Max from Dunham and the Girls team, with Dunham also attached to direct. Written by Girls writer/executive producer Murray Miller, the series is set in 1963 and centers on “the stirrings of second-wave feminism, as seen through the eyes of an ambitious magazine writer who stumbles her way into the women’s movement.†Lisa Joyce (Billy & Billie, Boardwalk Empire, The Good Wife) is attached to star.
