Tina Fey, Jack Burditt, and Robert Carlock Developing CBS Multi-Cam Comedy

The team behind Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt have a new show in the works at CBS. According to Deadline, Tina Fey, Robert Carlock, and Jack Burditt have sold an untitled multi-cam show to CBS that follows “an oddball athlete who drives family, friends and strangers bonkers after he unexpectedly finds himself retired.� The project is written by Burditt, who will co-executive produce with Fey and Carlock. This makes the second Fey-produced project that recently sold to a major network; she will also executive produce Tracey Wigfield’s NBC pilot about “a millennial woman who joins a cable news network.�
