The book focuses on an agoraphobic Seattle architect and mother who goes missing before a family trip to Antarctica. Fault in Our Stars and (500) Days of Summer writers Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber adapted the novel, which means that we as a people are one step closer to making a Zooey Deschanel–Cate Blanchett buddy comedy happen.
