Sufjan Stevens didn’t necessarily wear a costume during his Halloween performance at Loew’s Jersey Theatre, but he did get into character when he covered Drake’s ubiquitous single “Hotline Bling.†With guest performer Gallant, Stevens expanded his already vast repertoire of musical styles, doing his own version of Drake’s awkward solipsistic dance while a blown-up picture of Drake appeared behind him.
