Wednesday night’s Daily Show episode was canceled at the last minute by Comedy Central this week after host Trevor Noah went to the emergency room for an appendectomy. Thankfully, the surgery went well enough that Noah returned with a new episode last night, where he recapped his very first experience in an American emergency room: “A lot of people ask me, ‘Trevor, what’s it gonna be like commenting on America if you’re not from America?’ and I was like ‘Well, I’m gonna have to experience America.’ And what better way than enjoying America’s healthcare system?â€
