Vin Diesel is like a bald, muscular Energizer Bunny who kills lots of bad guys. He just doesn’t stop. In addition to starring roles in the upcoming Furious 9 and XXX: The Return of Xander Cage, Diesel will also be reprising the role that helped him become an action star. The actor announced on Instagram that Riddick, the ass-kicking anti-hero who knows how to hunt and kill people incredibly well despite being sorta blind, will return in a new movie, Furia, written by David Twohy, as well as a series called Merc City “that will follow the Mercs and Bounty Hunters of the Riddick Universe.†Ain’t no rest for the Diesel. To paraphrase Mr. Kanye West, Diesel would rather be a Riddick than a swallower.
