It’s great that you’re doing so well, but is it really such a good financial plan to single-handedly pay for a Happy Endings movie? Just kidding. It’s the only financial plan! It just makes sense for your lifestyle, which consists entirely of rewatching Happy Endings episodes on Hulu. Happy Endings star Casey Wilson told Entertainment Tonight that an unnamed rich person had offered to do just that. “There’s interest. Someone even called my husband [David Caspe], who created it, and basically said, ‘I’m a private investor, I would love to pay for a movie’ … we were like, ‘Okay’ … now private citizens are coming off the streets!†she explained. According to Wilson, “the funds have not sizzled in our account yet,†but that doesn’t mean everyone shouldn’t get their hopes way, way up. Getting funded by a millionaire investor not only seems like the best way to bring a Happy Endings movie into existence, it should also be the plot of a Happy Endings movie. Picture it: The gang all gets hired by a wealthy eccentric, high jinks ensue, Max eats a pizza off his own bare chest over the course of the film. Oh, it’ll be great.
