Here’s a clip from the always delightful Jenny Slate’s appearance on last night’s Tonight Show, where she admits to Jimmy Fallon that she doesn’t understand poker and is a terrible liar. Slate’s pro-honesty stance turned out to be a big advantage during high school, where she served as class president for all four years thanks to her painfully honest speeches: “I ran for class president in ninth grade … I knew I was running against a really popular person, and I was just like ‘I’m gonna go for it!’†she explained. “And my speech was basically like ‘You might want to vote for Marissa, but I actually care about this and this is all I have!’ Jenny Slate: This is all I have.†Watch another clip from the interview below:
