On the heels of her Grammy cancellation, Rihanna has pushed back the start of her Anti tour. The delays seem unrelated to health, however, as Billboard cites unspecified production issues. (One of the magazine’s sources said an early show in San Jose wasn’t going to be ready in time.) The singer had axed her Monday night performance because of bronchitis and a threat of permanent vocal-cord damage. “Based on Rihanna’s examination after Grammy rehearsal, Rihanna’s doctor put her on vocal rest for 48 hours because of a risk of hemorrhaging,†Rih’s reps said earlier in the week. “The antibiotics did not kill the infection adequately.†Though some hiccups are also altering her tour, it’s still on. The first eight stops have just moved to the beginning and middle of May. And Anti’s European stretch, which starts in June and runs into August, remains intact.
