Elton John performed a surprise show (though maybe not so surprising, since there was a camera crew there) on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood on Saturday. He was joined by Lady Gaga, wearing super-long pumps that resemble stilts or weapons (Bowie would be proud), for “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me.†Gaga later said in an Instagram post: “This great man has inspired generations with his powerful music and warm heart there will never be another like him and there never was before. His uniqueness is compounded by his ability to love endlessly while also creating the biggest hits the world has ever known.â€
