Season four of Veep ended with something of a cliffhanger, with a tied election and creator Armando Iannucci’s departure from the show. But in the latest trailer, we’re otherwise right back in the thick of it (sorry, Armando). There are hackers, a financial crisis, kayaks, Hugh Laurie as Selina Meyer’s second-in-command and possible successor, and finally John Slattery as her latest presidential sidepiece. Veep returns April 24, the same night as Game of Thrones, but this has fewer dragons and more electoral-college trivia.
