Wow, and to think it all started by humiliating stupid idiots for their terrible clothes. As part of their apparent plan to pervade all forms of media across the globe, the multi-platform, many-headed hydra Vice Media recently acquired a majority stake in the U.K. production company Pulse Films. Vice has paired with Pulse to produce a number of projects, including the 2012 LCD Soundsystem documentary Shut Up and Play the Hits. Vice also recently brought Viceland to the U.K., a month after it’s launch in the U.S. At this rate, someday, everyone can look forward to being acquired by Vice. I, for one, welcome our edgy overlords.
