The April “Fresh Faces” issue of Marie Claire was fronted by Zendaya, Ellie Goulding, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Hailey Baldwin, but all four took a backseat to innovator of our time, Kylie Jenner. Jenner, a modern woman who most certainly doubled-down on Lean In over spring break, was in no mood to undercut her impressive résumé. With the assurance of a woman who runs a successful cosmetics brand and is a sister-in-law to God himself, she cleared her throat and said: “I started wigs, and now everyone is wearing wigs.”
