Emma Watson’s been spending a lot of time building her sterling rep as a humanitarian, serving as a U.N. Goodwill Ambassador and launching the HeForShe campaign. But this year, she’s returning to acting in a big way, in part with Colonia, Academy Award-winner Florian Gallenberger’s story of the Chilean military coup in 1973 told through the experiences of a young couple, Lena and Daniel, who must contend with secret police, ex-Nazis, and army dudes breaking that camera you got as a graduation present.
In addition to Watson as Lena, the part of Daniel is being played by Daniel Brühl, vet of Inglourious Basterds and Rush as well as the still-unseen villain of the upcoming Captain America: Civil War. Watch this exclusive clip from the film, in which the couple tangles with soldiers who really do not like being photographed.
