According to Deadline, Naomi Watts is set to star in the upcoming psychological-thriller series Gypsy, scripted by Lisa Rubin, which received a 10-episode straight-to-series order from Netflix. Watts will star as therapist Jean Holloway, a woman who “begins to develop dangerous and intimate relationships with the people in her patients’ lives.†Fifty Shades Of Grey’s Sam Taylor-Johnson will direct the series’ first two episodes, which suggests therapists the nation over should get ready for a lot of reaaaaaaaaaal awkward conversations next year.
