There are actors and then there are actors — those make-believe mavens whose deep dives into characters have given us such stunning portraits as Jared Leto’s Joker in advertisements for the upcoming film Suicide Squad; such memorable portrayals as the Suicide Squad Twitter account’s Joker-themed April Fools’ Day takeover. Yes, there are some actors who completely lose themselves in a performance; some actors who, when you look at them, you think, wait — is that the real guy or a fake version? Indeed, there are performances and then there are performances. Similarly, there are birds and then there is Terrance. Angry Birds Movie producer John Cohen announced Wednesday that Sean Penn would voice “Terence,†a bird in the upcoming Angry Birds Movie. Cohen also provided a little behind-the-scenes look at the bir— I mean, at the actor.
