The Simpsons has had plenty of fun couch gags over the past year – back in October, Ren & Stimpy’s John Kricfalusi made a special Treehouse of Horror couch gag, and earlier this year the show went ‘80s glam with its couch gag from January. For last night’s episode, the show enlisted longtime Disney animator Eric Goldberg – who has worked on classic Disney films like Aladdin, Pocahontas, Hercules, and Frozen – to take the Simpsons family for a trip through Disney animation history.
