Last week, Tom Hanks batted away a question about a Trump presidency by underlining U.S. resiliency: “We’ll be fine. We’ve worked ourselves out of holes many, many times,†the actor explained on CBS This Morning. “I’m not saying he’s going to be president of the United States … I’m gonna say that we are gonna have the most hilarious September, October, and first week of November in a very long, long time.†Over in the U.K., however, Hanks shared a more confident answer with Sky News, which asked if the contentious Republican candidate would be able to make the States great again. “Here’s the problem: America’s already great, so I don’t know what he is talking about,†Hanks said at the London premiere of A Hologram for the King on Monday. “I think that man will be president of the United States right about the time spaceships come down filled with dinosaurs in red capes.â€
