Will Ferrell has another presidential impersonation up his sleeve. According to Variety, Ferrell has signed on to play President Ronald Reagan in an upcoming film by Mike Rosolio called Reagan. The movie will begin “at the start of the ex-president’s second term when he falls into dementia and an ambitious intern is tasked with convincing the commander in chief that he is an actor playing the president in a movie.†Ferrell will also produce alongside Gary Sanchez Productions, but no director is attached to the project yet. Reagan joins a long list of projects in the works starring Ferrell including a Daddy’s Home sequel, new buddy comedy by Brendan O’Brien, and a border control comedy with Adam McKay and John C. Reilly.
