When it comes to weird advice from an older male celebrity, Daniel Radcliffe’s Donald Trump story isn’t nearly as unsettling as Kenan Thompson’s Bill Cosby story. It’s still pretty odd, though. The time was the early 2000s; the place, the set of the Today show. A young Radcliffe was making his first live-TV appearance, and asked Donald Trump, who was also booked that day, for advice. The advice he got wasn’t “take advantage of the fear and xenophobia of Republican primary voters,†but it was utterly Trumpian all the same. Strange!
