Now that Drew Barrymore is edging her way out of the rom-com game, she’s turning her eyes toward asking other people about their love lives, and, presumably, cute kid/animal stories, with a deal with Warner Brothers. Nothing’s set yet, but Variety reports that the actress, who is already narrating an upcoming reality series called First Dates (get it, because Barrymore was in 50 First Dates?) for the studio, is in talks to add another contract as a talk-show host. If she does get the job, here’s hoping she sits behind a desk and invites David Letterman. It’s high time the aging comedian return the favor of Barrymore’s infamous 1995 guest appearance on his show, wherein she danced on his desk. No flashing necessary, though.
