The East Coast isn’t above the Miley-inspired buns and Gwen-inspired face-bedazzling that dominates Coachella, but this past weekend’s Governors Ball deserves some credit for attracting far fewer flower crowns than one might expect. Attendees who have come to anticipate rain year after year made the most of their emergency ponchos; it turns out a sheer-pink one can totally work over a floral dress. One woman even managed to keep her furry Puma slides — paired with oversized overalls and a lace bralette — from succumbing to the grassy terrain.
