Julie Andrews, everyone’s favorite nanny/nun-in-training/perfect mother figure, is getting a Netflix show. It’s called Julie’s Greenroom, and it stars Andrews as Mrs. Julie, a Mr. Rodgers-like figure with a flair for the performing arts. Technically this show is for preschoolers, but we won’t tell anyone if you watch it yourself. On the show, which is due out in early 2017, Andrew is joined by a cast of puppets from Jim Henson’s Creature Shop (the people behind The Muppets) and a slew of celebrity guests, including Alec Baldwin, Sarah Bareilles, Tituss Burgess, Carol Burnett, Ellie Kemper, and Idina Menzel. Andrews co-created the show with her daughter Emma Walton Hamilton, with whom she’s also published a series of kids’ books, and Judy Rothman-Rofe. On Greenroom, Mrs. Julie appears with a trusty assistant, Gus (Giullian Gioiello). But on the off chance that Gus is feeling under the weather one day and you need a new assistant, Julie, give us a call.
