For years, Radiohead fans have tried to not get any big ideas about In Rainbows coming to Spotify — it wasn’t going to happen. But now, it appears the 2007 self-released album has indeed made the jump onto the streaming service Thom Yorke once called “the last desperate fart of a dying corpse,†showing up on Spotify in the wee hours of Thursday night. The band reportedly wanted the record to only be made available to Spotify subscribers, a slight twist from its origins as one of the first major pay-what-you-wish albums, but apparently relented because it is the 21st century, it is the 21st century.
