Powers and Hit The Floor actress Logan Browning will replace Dear White People star Tessa Thompson as outspoken biracial undergrad radio host Sam White in the upcoming Netflix series based on the 2014 dramedy, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Brandon Bell will return as her ex-boyfriend/rival Troy Fairbanks. Much like the movie of the same name, the ten-episode, 30-minute Dear White People series will follow the intersecting lives of students of color at a mostly white, fictional Ivy League school, where they are all presumably majoring in modeling and minoring in having perfect bone structure.
