Twitter was ablaze with support for Jesse Williams’s moving speech at the BET Awards this week. Other big names showed up for the event, including Jennifer Hudson, Samuel L. Jackson, and Stevie Wonder. (Who didn’t attend? Justin Timberlake.)
Inspirational in its own way was Grindr’s pride party, “SLUMBR.” The leather-wrapped event was hosted at the Top of the Standard and looked like quite the time: Hamish Bowles seemed to enjoy himself while wearing slippers. Andreja Pejic made an appearance, and her stunning all-black getup might get you in the mood to read about a new New York model she inspired. Also this week: Sophie Turner showed up in Dorne — sorry, Madrid — at a Game of Thrones fan event, while Alessandra Ambrosio and Milla Jovovich were spotted at the Marc Cain spring-summer show in Berlin.
In Los Angeles, Margot Robbie and Alexander Skarsgard partied in Hollywood for The Legend of Tarzan’s premiere, while Lily Collins and Rosemarie DeWitt made an appearance at the Sony Pictures Television Social Soiree.
