Those jugglers and tightrope walkers get better looking every year. Michelle Williams is currently in talks to board the long-gestating circus musical The Greatest Showman on Earth, joining Zac Efron in another rumored role. Chronicling P.T. Barnum, the founder of the famous traveling Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, the film will tell the story of the circus legend’s “invention of show business, and his ultimate invention of the three-ring circus.†Hugh Jackman has already signed on to play Barnum — perfect casting, really — and produce the musical, while Williams’s and Efron’s potential roles are both unknown. We’re assuming it’ll be like Moulin Rogue!, but with less absinthe and more tigers.
