NBC hasn’t had a successful business-competition show since the host of its last one decided he’d rather try to destroy the foundations of civil society. That may soon change, as Variety reports that the network has green-lit Funded, a reality show where start-up founders compete for funding with the help of mentors Tyra Banks, Rob Dyrdek, and Rohan Oza. At the end of each episode, founders will pitch a real-live venture capitalist in the hopes of getting $1 million for their business — and only one can win! Fortunately, that’s not the way TV shows work, so both this and Shark Tank may be able to co-exist peacefully and profitably.
