Just think how many ’90s nostalgia trends are being reblogged on Tumblr at this very moment because of Courtney Love. It’s no wonder Nasty Gal tapped Hole’s lead singer for a collaboration earlier this year, and Hedi Slimane put tiaras on his punk models for Saint Laurent in her honor.
Known to wear slips as dresses, Love has a way of making romantic pieces look edgy: She’ll pair ruffles with effortless bedhead, or go barefoot onstage in a lace dress. Perhaps her style secret is as simple as knowing when to add a red lip or accessorize with a cigarette.
