Mark Renton, Spud, Sick Boy, and Franco are back together again. It’s been more than 20 years (20 years!) since the crew tore up Edinburgh in the original Trainspotting: That’s before Brexit, before Tony Blair, and even before Princess Diana’s death. It’s been a while! Director Danny Boyle has reunited the original cast including Ewan McGregor, Ewen Bremner, Jonny Lee Miller, and Robert Carlyle for T2, which sees Renton (McGregor) returning to Scotland where the other three are waiting for him. (They always return, don’t they?)
