There’s a fourth (okay, fifth) Bourne movie out this weekend, which makes it a perfect time to recap the original trilogy starring Matt Damon. (Sorry, Jeremy Renner.) They were kind of the same! As the Honest Trailers trailer points out, each film has Bourne trying to figure out who he is, has a cool car chase, a control room of people on computers trying to catch him, and a bad guy who is just a puppet for someone else. So it’s a good bet that whoever the bad guy is in Jason Bourne, there’s another shadowier, more Darknet villain behind them. Don’t be so surprised, Jason Bourne!
