After a few years under the sardonic rule of Ricky Gervais, and the sharp wit of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association just wants to have some fun. NBC announced today that Jimmy Fallon will host the 2017 Golden Globes. Fallon has previously hosted the 2010 Emmys and the 2005 MTV movie awards, where he worked with the Lonely Island. As the Globes occupy a special and important place in awards season, we can’t wait for Fallon to bring Amy Adams and Ang Lee onstage for a round of Catchphrase!
