Denver’s High Plains Comedy Festival has announced its 2016 lineup, and it’s their biggest one yet, with headliners Kyle Kinane, Cameron Esposito, and Garfunkel & Oates joining dozens of the country’s best comics for a three-day party in the Mile-High City.
Now in its fourth year, High Plains was founded by Adam Cayton-Holland, standup comic and one-third of supergroup The Grawlix, the trio behind truTV’s Those Who Can’t. Cayton-Holland, along with fellow Grawlix Ben Roy and Andrew Orvedahl, will host a live table read of an as-yet-unseen episode of Those Who Can’t, along with co-star Maria Thayer and Ian Karmel. The trio, Denver natives who only recently relocated to the west coast, will also throw the fest’s Finale Show, a blowout featuring Bobcat Goldthwait, Baron Vaughn, Josh Blue, and more.
High Plains has a history of featuring exciting up-and-comers alongside longtime favorites, and this year’s lineup has a lot to look forward to: expect appearances from Jonah Ray, Aparna Nancherla, Eliza Skinner, Brent Weinbach. Andrew Santino, Sean O’Connor, Jermaine Fowler, Nick Vatterott, Joel Kim Booster, Dulce Sloan, Chris Garcia, Ahmed Bharoocha, David Gborie, Troy Walker, Chris Charpentier, Bryan Cook, Kristin Rand, and dozens of Denver’s funniest comics.
High Plains runs from August 25-27, 2016; tickets are on sale now.
