On The Daily Show Wednesday night, Trevor Noah did a longer segment on police brutality and misconduct directed at the black community. The occasion was heralded by none other than the Burnt One, who recently made overtures to black voters (but, you know, not actually to them) by offering a solution to the problem of police harassment, which was basically, more police! “The problem in our communities is not that there are too many police, the problem is that there are not enough police,†said Trump. Noah said the logic was like the musings of a right-wing stoner: “Donald Trump said that statement like someone who smoked a shit ton of weed.†Whoaaaa. Maybe that’s how Donald Trump gets all of his ideas!
