Call him Young Thug, call him Jeffery, or call him nothing — once again, Thugger has proven himself one of hip-hop’s most subversive names. Extending his dominant year, Young Thug has released his latest mixtape, No, My Name Is JEFFERY, after a week’s delay owing to a last-minute fashion crisis. And oh, the fashion. The album’s cover features Young Thug in a striking, gender-binary-breaking frock designed by Alessandro Trincone. It, like Thugger, is a work of art. As if that weren’t enough to turn heads, the mixtape also features the year’s best track titles: from “RiRi” to “Floyd Mayweather” to “Harambe” (yes, really), the titles were apparently all inspired by Young Thug’s “idols.” Never change, whatever your name is.
