FX just put a new comedy in development from Inside Amy Schumer’s Jessi Klein and Broad City star Abbi Jacobson. According to Deadline, the network is developing a half-hour comedy written by Klein and Samantha Irby titled Meaty based on Irby’s blog and 2013 memoir of the same name. The series will follow Irby “through failed relationships, taco feasts, her struggles with Crohn’s disease, poverty, blackness and body image.†Irby will co-executive produce the project with Jacobson and Klein.
